AWARD WINNING WORK FOR FTSE 100 SHARESAVE SCHEME OFFERED TO NEARLY 2000 EMPLOYEES

CHALLENGE
For 3 years running, we have worked
with the Smiths Group Legal Function
in relaunching their Sharesave Scheme
through the redesign of various comms
materials to improve uptake by UK
employees, specifically new employees
and the younger population.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE
As a FTSE 100’s Sharesave Scheme,
we needed to come up with an
engaging, appropriate concept to
make the scheme more accessible
and communicative. This required a
targeted approach across different
communication channels and outlets.
OUR APPROACH
The chosen concept was ‘Share
success, grow your savings’. We used
a tree metaphor as a symbol of
growth and vectorial silhouettes to
help navigate the content across a range of materials, including web banners, explanatory booklets, posters, video animation, plus a filmed interview with the Smiths Group CEO. In 2018, 2019 and 2020, we refreshed all materials and evolved the visuals to reflect the passage of time and “growth” in the scheme.

As a result, scheme participation
has increased by 14.7% since the
campaign launch in 2017.
